I was a fan of the original temple run game when it was released on android about 10 months ago. Good thing my smart phone (which is the old Galaxy S i9000) is compatible with both the original game and the sequel.
If you do not know Temple Run is a game developed and published by Imangi Studios. You control one character and the game starts after you have gotten the "idol". You are running from a group of demonic monkeys and along the way are obstacles where you either Jump, slide down, or avoid by tilting your device. You may collect coins along the way and purchase power-ups that serve different purpose.
This mechanics have not changed much with Temple Run 2.
